Sadio Mane Scales Medical Ahead Of Bayern Move
Sadio Mane underwent his medical in Germany on Tuesday.
The 30-year-old landed in Munich on Tuesday morning to undergo his medical to seal his departure from Liverpool after six years at the club.
ESPN, who reported last week that the Bundesliga champions reached and agreement to sign Mane from Liverpool in a deal worth up to €41 million.
When the forward meets a specified appearance clause, the team will pay €6 million. If they collect individual and team goals, they will give an additional 3 million to Liverpool.
Yesterday, Mane was spotted wearing a Bayern training jersey. His new destination is the Bundesliga.
It is rumored that Mane will play in the match on July 30.
The forward will leave as a Liverpool legend after helping the team to Champions League success in 2019 and their first Premier League title in 2020.
He scored 120 goals in 269 games, including the Club World Cup, FA Cup and Carabao Cup.
Liverpool have already replaced Senegal international Sadio Mane with Darwin Nunez, signing the player for a record fee worth up to €100 million.
Mohamed Salah will remain at Liverpool for the foreseeable future with he and Fabio Carvalho already signed this summer.
