Sensational Nigerian artist, Akinbiyi Abiola Ahmed, popularly known as Bella Shmurda, has stated that while he does not blame young people who engage in internet fraud or Yahoo Yahoo, he also understands that it is not something to be proud of.
The “CashApp” singer made the claim during an interview on the Echo Room Podcast, where he made no mention of his past as a Yahoo Boy.
In response to the interviewer’s question regarding whether he had ever engaged in internet fraud, Bella first inquired as to what it was before moving on to indicate that he knew little about the plan.
He found it difficult to answer directly about his prior life; instead, he talked about how some people engage in illegal activities in an effort to survive.
Bella Shmurda also claimed that although some people who profited from online fraud were unhappy with their actions, they still chose to engage in fraud in order to support their families.
