Richarlison scored twice while Nigerian superstar Alex Iwobi was also on the scoresheet as Everton won 3-2 against Wolves at Goodison Park.
Everton clinched a late victory over Wolves on Sunday evening as a Richarlison brace and first Blues Premier League goal for Alex Iwobi saw Marco Silva’s side head into the international break off the back of a win.
In an explosive start to proceedings at Goodison Park, Richarlison pounced on a defensive mix-up to open the scoring only for Everton to gift Romain Saiss an equalizer minutes later.
Iwobi headed home his second Blues goal in less than a week to restore Everton’s lead before Raul Jimenez equalized with a header of his own in the second half.
But Richarlison leaped highest to head home a Lucas Digne cross to clinch all three points late on before Wolves had Willy Boly sent off for a second bookable offense in stoppage-time.
