Nigerian singer, Benkrezt has scolded controversial singer, Portable over his unapologetic attitude towards Headies disqualification.
It was earlier reported that Habeeb Okikiola popularly known as Portable wasn’t moved by his humiliating disqualification from Headies 2022 awards.
The controversial singer infuriated many when he claimed he was affiliated with the notorious one million boys.
The video generated angry reactions from Nigerians who called him out for his barbaric behavior and unbridled tongue that would lead him to jail.
Following the shocking revelation, Portable had been disqualified by Smooth Productions, organizers of popular Nigerian music awards, The Headies.
The fast-rising artiste was contending for the Best Street-Hop Artiste and Rookie of the Year awards, according to the earlier nomination list.
In a statement released on Tuesday, July 26, the organizers condemned the controversial artiste for claiming affliction with the dreaded robbery gang known as ‘1 Million boys’.
Lashing out at him, Benkrezt told him to never forget his root.
He noted how today he could be disqualified and tomorrow, radio could ban his songs.
Advising him to use his head, Benkrezt told him to apologize for his action and stay humble.
“Today Dem disqualify you. Tomorrow your song no go play for radio, that is the end of Solomon grandy. Use your head brother and stay humble pls don’t forget your root!
Always remember sey na people come together make sure u blow. The same people fit still come together make sure u frustrate. No feel sey u don big pass your helpers. Remain humble & think wisely”.
