Nigerian music star, Rema has come outside to define his genre of music as he feels uncomfortable with listeners putting in the crowd
According to the Mavin Records/Jonzing World artist, his genre of music is defined as ‘Afrorave’ a sub-genre of Afrobeat.
Rema took his official Twitter account to actually reveal his sound/genre – he wrote;
“From this day my sound will be called “Afrorave” a sub-genre of Afrobeat, my Album seals this claim for good.”

Following Rema’s introduction to the mainstream a few years ago, there has been a lot of contradictions in his music genre and sound. With some music fans who called Rema’s sound ‘Indian‘. He wrote;

In addition, Rema also hinted at his forthcoming album. He has previously announced his ‘Rema US Club Tour’ which kicks off from May 27th till June 5th with various cities in the USA.
