Residents of Montecito, Santa Barbara are unhappy with the publicity that Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle’s move to the area has brought.
TMZ reports that the quiet little town is buzzing with its new arrivals who moved into a multimillion-dollar mansion and some locals are reportedly fed up as their daily lives are being disrupted.
Though the couple hasn’t been seen in public, their mere presence is making the folks in the town angry as members of the paparazzi have swarmed the area.
The report says that choppers are constantly zooming over Harry and Meghan’s abode (sometimes 4 times daily) and paparazzi are stalking their home and watching around a nearby shopping center.
Even tourists are reportedly showing up in town and asking local shop owners if they have seen Harry and Meghan.
Montecito has been known for being a no-paparazzi zone, with celebs occasionally choosing to dine and shop there to avoid publicity. That changed when Harry and Meghan arrived.
Locals who spoke to TMZ revealed that they want the paparazzi to stop their activities as things have gotten to a point where everyone’s privacy is being invaded.
