Some schools may use just one of these screening methods while some may use two or all three of these screening methods.
Nevertheless, many schools (if not all) use the Aptitude Test Screening in selecting the qualified candidates for admission.
Now let’s briefly explain what’s involved in these 3 different methods of Screening.
1. Online Screening
In this case, you will be required to upload your results and other relevant documents on the school’s portal. The school will then screen you based on how good your results are as well as the validity of documents and other information you submitted.
The documents you may need to upload include;
- * O’level result (WAEC, NECO or GCE)
* JAMB result(original)
* Birth certificate
* Certificate of State/LG of origin
* JAMB Direct Entry Registration slip(For Direct Entry candidates)
* 3 Passport
Jamb details(such as Registration number, subject combination etc)
2. Physical Screening
In physical screening, candidates will be required to come to the schools with all relevant documents to be screened.
The school may equally decide to conduct an oral interview for candidates. Students are advised to go to the screening in formal attire and ensure they look decent. One thing that will give you an edge in this case is the confidence you exude while answering the questions thrown at you.
3. Aptitude Test Screening
Here candidates will take an aptitude test as a form of screening. This is in form of an examination. it could be CBT or PPT. Many schools (if not all) now use this method to screen candidates. In this case, candidates are advised to get the Post-UTME Past questions of their school of choices in order to prepare adequately for the aptitude test Screening.
So whatever be the case, at least now you are aware of what to expect and we believe this will help you to equally prepare as expected.
Goodluck!
