Juventus boss, Maurizio Sarri may soon be sacked if the tactician fails to overturn a 1 – 0 Champion League deficit to Lyon. Maurizio Sarri has just guided Juventus to the Serie A title, but club chiefs are not impressed.
Mauricio Pochettino has been shortlisted among possible replacements for the 61-year-old tactician. The Old Lady survived a late scare before they were finally crowned Serie A champions and reports say the club chiefs are not happy with Sarri’s tactical approach.
Mauricio Pochettino is one of the potential managers to take over with reports that he was earlier considered for the position in 2019 but missed out to Sarri after Tottenham’s hefty release clause scared the Serie A champions away. The Argentine is now a free agent and he is eager to return to managerial position and a deal for him is very likely. The 48-year-old recently turned down a move to Monaco, but is still believed to be plotting his return to management.
Also, the club, Juventus dream is the appointment of Zinedine Zidane, particularly given his ties with the club as a player as well as the allure he would possess in convincing Paul Pogba to return.
