The Plateau State chapter of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has expressed its confidence in winning the presidential and other national assembly elections held on Saturday. The party’s Generation Next Campaign Council spokesman, Mr. Shittu Bamaiyi, stated that the outcome of the elections would further confirm the party’s dominance in Plateau politics.
Bamaiyi added that the APC is fully prepared for the elections and has made necessary arrangements to ensure that the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, wins in all 17 local government areas of the state.
Bamaiyi noted that the party had campaigned and engaged with various stakeholders, and the response was positive, with the people ready to vote for the APC candidates, including Tinubu for the presidency and Dr. Nentawe Yiltwada for the gubernatorial candidate on March 11.
He emphasized that the opposition party would not win the presidential election in Plateau, and that the APC had fully entrenched itself over the past eight years.
Bamaiyi said that the APC is confident that the people of Plateau State will come out en masse on Saturday to vote for the party’s candidates across the board. He attributed the people’s confidence in the APC candidates to their achievements in their various political journeys and their contribution to the development of Nigeria and Plateau State.
According to him, the foundation for the APC’s victory in the elections has been laid through credible performance in the past eight years. He also noted that the APC is on its way to winning the elections with the support of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kashim Shettima, who are great Nigerians that have achieved a lot in their various political journeys.
