The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, condemned the attack on the senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah.
It was reported the senator and his convoy were attacked on Sunday, at Nkwo Enugu Ukwu, Njikoka Local Government Area, Anambra State.

Reacting to the development in a tweet on Monday, Obi said “the attack is condemnable and unacceptable.” Obi also commiserated with Senator Ifeanyi Ubah over the death of his aides in Sunday’s failed assassination attempt.
