Nollywood actress and founder of iROKOtv, Mary Remmy Njoku has counseled African parents to normalize the purchase of brown dolls with Afro hair for their children.
She has taken to her Instagram page where she advised African parents on the best ways to remind their daughters of how lovely their skin tone is.
She wrote, “African parents need to normalize buying brown dolls with Afro hair for kids.
This will help remind our children (especially daughters) of how beautiful and unique they are.
White-skinned dolls shouldnt be their standard for Beauty.”
