Two members of Liverpool’s Premier League side are absent from their clash with Nottingham Forest. Darwin Nunez and Thiago Alcantara didn’t travel to the match.
The game against West Ham went well, as he was taken off with a tight hamstring and unable to play in the game against Nottingham Forest.
It is believed that Thiago’s absence is due to an ear infection, with Curtis Jones being called into the XI to partner Fabinho instead of Jordan Henderson.
Jurgen Klopp made five changes to the starting lineup, with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Kostas Tsimikas also among his substitutes. James Milner and Andy Robertson both return to the starting lineup.
Harvey Elliott joins Fabio Carvalho on the right side, Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz are out for the foreseeable future.
Nunez’s absence means that Liverpool will need to rely on Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino for the goals. It’ll be a tough task for them, as Liverpool will be trying to record a fourth win in a row in all competitions today.
