Following the pronouncement by the Inspector General of Police, Adamu Mohammed that the Special Anti-robbery Squad, SARS has been disbanded, vices by the men of the force continue to thrive and Nigerians are saying enough is enough.
Taking a switch from #EndSARS to #SARSMustEnd, many Nigerians are of the opinion that the arm of the police is not disbanded as announced by the IGP especially with the clause in Number 2 of the press release on SARS disbandment.
The protests will continue until Nigerians see that this pronouncement takes full effect.

Dear @UKinNigeria,
Recall that your threat of sanctions were instrumental to free and fair elections in Edo. I urge you to consider announcing a new set of sanctions targeted at @MBuhari administration officials responsible for the killings, arrests and beatings of #SARSMustEnd

From what I hear, the IGP’s announcement dissolving FSARS may simply be a case of PHCN (Problem Has Changed Name). Protesters were still beaten and arrested in Abuja, Ekpoma, and Lagos, while 3 were killed in Ogbomoso. This dissolution may just be a audio disbandment #SARSMustEnd pic.twitter.com/mJfGfmwEVY

Policemen were protecting us in London and helped clear traffic for 3 hours while policemen were chasing people in Abuja and shooting in Ogbomosho. Make it make sense! We must not give up. This is just the beginning. This crazy culture of brutality must end. #SARSMustEnd #EndSARS

If you have a flight to catch in Abuja, make sure you get to the airport by 4am or earlier.
If you are coming into Abuja by air, cancel your plans. Because the city will be on a deserved public Holiday.
Pass it on! #ENDSARS #Sarsmustend
