In the aftermath of Hushpuppi’s arrest, a number of restrictions have been placed on Nigerians intending to travel to Dubai.
Recall that Hushpuppi, Woodberry, and other alleged internet fraudsters were arrested in June 2020, with the former extradited to the United States where he is currently being tried in California.
An update has been released and Nigerians who have been considering going to Dubai will have their plans canceled as visa renewals for those in the UAE have been stopped.
Also, permanent resident returning approvals for Nigerians have been halted while tourist visas have been put on hold.
