The General Overseer of Synagogue church of all nations(SCOAN), Prophet TB Joshua has visited the gory scene of the gas explosion that occurred in Amuwo Odofin area of Lagos state.
The incident which saw properties and lives lost took place in the early hours of Sunday, 15th Of March, 2020 and shook the country as a whole.
The Prophet, through the facebook page of his ministry stated that the spirit of God asked him to visit the scene of the explosion to see what happened there and urged Nigerians to help the affected community in any way they can.
‘’ I woke up this morning and the Spirit of God said I should go to the place where there was an explosion yesterday. I want everyone who can to take your time to go and see what happened there. The people affected need your help and support. In whatever way God puts in your heart – please support the affected community. God bless you’’
According to reports, over 50 buildings were affected, including a boarding school. It was also reported that the principal of the school, Bethlehem College, met untimely death while rescuing pupils who were trapped in the school as a result of the explosion.
