Both unions, after their five-day warning strike, told the federal government to brace up for what they described as the “mother of all strikes”. This is coming at the end of the one-week warning strike issued by NASU and SSANU.

According to the unions, the federal government had failed to show commitment towards settling pending issues, one of which is the payment of earned allowances to their members.
