An unexpected development left members of a catholic church in Deido, Cameroon stunned when one of their ministers suddenly slumped while preaching.
Rev. Father Jude, the Spiritual Director of Catholic Men Association (CMA) in Deido, was in the middle of sharing the sermon with the congregation while wearing a face mask when he paused for a moment, seemingly struggling to breathe.
Some seconds later, the priest collapsed on the altar and other ministers rushed to his aid.
Chidi Odinkalu, the former Chairman of National Human Rights Commission, posted the video of the occurrence on Twitter, writing:
“Rev. Fr Jude., CMA, Spiritual Director of CMA Deido, in Cameroon’s commercial capital, Douala, was preaching the Homily at Mass earlier today when this happened #RIP.“
