Atiku Names Kola Ologbondiyan As Fourth Campaign Spokesperson

The Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubarkar, has appointed a new spokesperson, to his presidential campaign council.

Ologbondiyan who was the former National Secretary of will join Charles Aniagwu, Daniel Bwala, and Dino Melaye as campaign spokespersons for the former Vice President.

This was made known in a statement by Atiku’s Media Adviser, Paul Ibe, on Thursday in Abuja, saying the appointment is with immediate effect.

“Ologbondiyan was the former National Publicity Secretary of the PDP (Dec. 2017-Dec. 2021). He was the Director of Media and Publicity, at the Presidential Campaign Council (2019 Presidential Election), and is now a member of the National Executive Committee, NEC of the party.

He added that the former spokesperson was Special Adviser (Media and Publicity) to the former President of the Senate, Senator David Mark (2007-2015). He is a highly experienced journalist endowed with the requisite skills of communication.

“He rose through the ranks from being Proof Reader and Production Editor to becoming Assistant Politics Editor, Politics Editor, Group Politics Editor, Deputy Editor (Daily), and Digital Editor (Online) of the THISDAY Newspapers.”
