Majority of the lawmakers in the People Democratic Party (PDP) have allegedly pledge their support to the senate president, Bukola Saraki in the ongoing presidential primaries in Port Harcourt.
Among the 190 PDP lawmakers, 138 has pledged their support to Saraki, 34 to Aminu Tambuwal and 28 to Atiku Abubakar.
The PDP is currently having its Presidential primary election in Port Harcourt where 12 candidates are currently contesting for the PDP presidential ticket.

The aspirants are the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, a former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, Aminu Tambuwal,Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, Sule Lamido,Ibrahim Dankwambo, Kabiru Turaki, Attahiru Bafarawa, Datti Baba-Ahmed, Ahmed Makarfi, Jonah Jang and David Mark.
