Vanguard Newspaper has apologized to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo over its publication of the allegation of the N90 billion FIRS fund.
The well-known newspaper had published a story titled ‘N90 Bn FIRS Election Fund: Osinbajo’s Problem, Not 2023 Politics’.
It stated that it had retracted the story as it discovered that it lacked facts. The statement of apology was released by the editor of the newspaper, who added that they held the Vice President in the highest esteem.

Osinbajo has said that he is ready to drop his immunity as the country’s Vice President to defend himself over the recent allegations.
