Netflix have released a new four-part series from Nigeria titled “Blood Sisters”. The film is already breaking the internet with thousands of comments flooding the internet and plenty positive reviews as well.

A suspense-filled film that has also been tagged as unpredictable, with a captivating climax and a  fantastic cast, Blood Sisters proves to be everything and some people have gone as far to say it has been the best Nollywood work. Created by Temi Makajuola and directed by Biyi Bandele and Kenneth Gyang.

Top actress Ina Dima-Okojie takes the lead role of Sarah whose best friend is Kemi, a role taken by Nancy Isime. Both women become fugitives after Kola(Deyemi Okanlawon)vanishes mysteriously before his wedding to Sarah. Kate Henshaw is portrayed as the villain in the movie who also happens to be Kola’s mom.

Other casts include: Ramsey Nouah, Segun Arinze, Uche Jombo, Keppy Ekpeyong, Etim Effiong, Wale Ojo, Kehinde Bankole, Gabriel Afolanyan, Toke Makinwa and many others.

Some Nollywood veterans made cameo appearances like Zack Orji, Joke Silva and Toyin Abraham. Blood Sisters was shot by Ebony Life Films and the four-part series proves to pass moral and social messages across board.

This comes as a huge resurgence for Mo Abudu who was heavily criticized by a lot of people for Chief Daddy 2, which was considered by many to be a flop and unnecessarily overhyped.
