In 25 Years, Ramsey Nouah Set To Feature In First TV Show Alongside Segun Arinze

In 1993, Ramsey Nouah kicked off his acting career on Fortune, a soap opera which starred Liz Benson, Pat Attah and Regina Askia.

Since then, Ramsey has become one of Nollywood’s most celebrated leading men — with memorable performances in films like The Figurine and ’76.

Now, after two and a half decades, the AMVCA-winning actor will be returning to his small-screen roots in Imoh Umoren’s upcoming TV show, Oghenekome.

The project, which was first announced over a year ago, finally has a poster and teaser. Ramsey Nouah will also be joined by other Nollywood heavyweights, Segun Arinze (who worked with Nouah on Vuga and Silent Night) and Rachel Oniga (Royal Hibiscus Hotel).

According to Imoh Umoren, Oghenekome — which is tagged “a twisted tale of broken hearts” — is the hardest thing he has ever had to direct. “[My producers and I] put our blood, sweat and tears into [it]”, he said on Instagram.

While no official release date has been announced, Umoren said the show will be “coming out in a bit.”
