Tournament Dates Announced as Nigerian Team, Edo Queens, Among Competitors

Morocco to Host 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League  The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially confirmed that Morocco will host the 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League. The tournament is scheduled to take place from November 9 to November 23, 2024, according to CAF’s official announcement.

Morocco had previously hosted the last edition of the prestigious competition, continuing its role as a key player in African football events.

Among the teams set to participate are Nigerian champions, Edo Queens, who will join seven other top clubs from across the continent in the tournament. This is Africa’s premier women’s club football competition.

Defending champions, Mamelodi Sundowns from South Africa, will also be among the teams competing for the title.

The winning team will be awarded a prize of $400,000, while the runner-up will take home $250,000.
