Shamsu Usman is a 23 year old boy from Gusau LGA of Zamfara State who was born with disability of walking, He strongly believes that living with disability is not a license to become a begger.
Despite his physical challenges, He was able to use his time to learn a trade(Selling and fixing of mobile phone accessories). It was a great surprise to me when Shamsu gave me an invitation to attend his freedom and also the official launching of his umbrella stand at the Bebeji Plaza Telecoms market Gusau. hmm you think it was a dream come true?
It may interest you to know that Shamsu is not only an entrepreneur but also a brilliant student. He is a secondary school graduate with an excellent O’level results and has the ambition to study Microbiology or Computer engineering in the university.

hamsu, who understands that studying in the university requires more financial sacrifices than in the secondary school especially for a physically challenged person like him, he now has to double his hustles in trying to raise enough money to further his education.
