Meek Mill makes a rebound with “Uptown Vibes”, a mixed hip-hop blend that features Fabolous and Anuel AA
“Uptown Vibes” is the second track of the two that dropped suddenly on 22th of November (the other being “Oodles O’ Noodles Babies”), previewing what we may get with Meek’s next LP – “Championships” which is set to release on 30th of November.
The production is handled by Meek’s frequent collaborator – Papamitrou, however, the sound deviates from his usual production and connects with the Spanish craze currently flooding the music industry.
“Uptown Vibes” couldn’t feature anybody besides Fabolous, who is from Brooklyn, NY., as well as Anuel AA, who perfectly turns up to the Spanish beat.
Cover art for the song features Dyckman Park Basketball Courts, which are located in the Washington Heights in Manhattan.
Quotable Lyrics:
Heard they tryna steal the wave, cut it out, cut it out
Spicy mamis on the way, bust it down, bust it down
Saw my watch, she love the way I flood it out, ayy
Talk to me nice, show you what these Bentley ’bout, woah
Pipe down, throwin’ up shots
First we shut them down, then we open up shop
Realest n!gga around just in case y’all forgot
They’ve been tryna stop the wave but the wave don’t stop
