On Episode 6 of Budweiser Smooth Kings Remix, Mayor of Lagos, Mayorkun and Mavin Records’ Di’Ja get to remix “Ijoya” by Weird MC.
Ijoya is an original song produced by Don Jazzy and JJC Skillz for Weird MC and it was quite a hit in 2006.
Mayorkun, who is one of the leaders of the new school Afro hip-hop digs it down in a contemporary while Di’Ja delivers her soft vocals on the tweaked version and it turns out as a brilliant hack.
