The Macallan has released a limited-edition James Bond 60th Anniversary Release in honor of the six decades of the film franchise.
The series comprises six bottles each encasing a single malt whisky. Presented in individually designed sleeves, the bottles also feature an original illustrative design.

James Bond is the longest running film franchise in entertainment today. The franchise has six different actors and 25 films over the course of six decades.
The Macallan is James Bond’s favorite whisky, and as two reputable brands, we share many similarities. One similarity is modern innovation (i.e., The Macallan was the first distillery to be granted an Individual Designation of Origin).
The single malt whisky has been created by master whisky maker Kirsteen Campbell to reflect ‘the enduring character’ of James Bond; a ‘force of nature defined by his Scottish heritage, who carries himself with modesty and humility’.
The expression is said to ‘exude a sense of style and maturity which has evolved over the years’, similar to the series’ eponymous character.
It has a natural gold colour and is rested at 43.7% ABV.
The whisky has a fruity taste and is reminiscent of fruit and other sweet flavors.
Orange zest and sherbet give this wine a sweet, lemon freshness with an assist from the oak and ginger spice. The long finish balances these elements.
Macallan has created a special exhibition that celebrates James Bond, called Cinema at The Macallan Estate.
