Luis Suarez saw his Barcelona to Juventus transfer collapse and now he could be in hot water over allegations he cheated on his Italian exam in Perugia last week.
After being told he was surplus to requirements at Barcelona by new manager Ronald Koeman, Suarez looked set for Turin. But he was required to take an Italian exam in order to gain an Italian passport with Juve already filling their quota of non-EU players by signing Weston McKennie.
The Uruguay international, eligible for an Italian passport because his wife has Italian ancestors, took the B1 Italian language test in Perugia last week. But reports in Italy have now claimed that Suarez is under investigation over allegations he cheated on the test after irregularities were found.
