Joseph Laurinaitis a.k.a. Road Warrior passes on at 60

Joseph Laurinaitis, the former WWE wrestler known by the stage name Road Warrior Animal, has passed away at the age of 60.

According to reports, cops got a call at around 11:49 pm from Laurinaitis’ wife but when they arrived on the scene, emergency personnel had already declared him dead.

The former WWE superstar was half of the tag team, The Road Warriors/The Legion of Doom. He made his debut in November 1982, competing as The Road Warrior.

Along with Road Warrior Hawk, Laurinaitis signed with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in 1990.

He headlined multiple pay-per-view events for the WWF (now known as WWE) and was inducted with Hawk and their manager into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011.
