The Family of late comedian Owomoyela Oluwatobi, popularly known as Peteru has expressed their devastation at the loss of their son.
Talk Glitz reported that the comedian had passed away and the entertainment industry was thrown into mourning following his demise.
In a statement shared online, his family said he died in the early hours of Thursday, December 22,
The deceased’s family, therefore, urged members of the public to allow them to grieve the loss of their son.
The family described Peteru as a loving son, father, husband, uncle, and comedian extraordinaire
The statement reads, “Thy will be done.”
The Owomoyela family regrets to announce the death of Oluwatobi ‘Peteru’ Owomoyela who until his death was a loving son, father, husband, brother, uncle, and comedian extraordinaire.
Peteru died in the early hours of Thursday, 22nd December 2022.
The entire family is devastated and all we can ask at this time is for the public to kindly allow the family to grieve and mourn this huge loss.
Burial details will be communicated to the public n due course while we request that you put the Owomoyela family in your prayers.”
