Afrobeats Star Embraces Musical Partnerships After Years of Solo Hits
Nigerian music sensation Daniel Anidugbe, better known as Kizz Daniel, has announced a renewed commitment to working with other artists, signaling a shift from his string of successful solo hits. The singer made his intentions known in a post on his X handle, writing, “Na collaboration I dey do now, I don taya to dey drop hit all by myself. [It] feels selfish IDK.”
Kizz Daniel’s new collaborative direction has already been reflected in his recent music projects. Earlier this month, he joined forces with Adekunle Gold for “Pano Tona,” a track that blends Kizz Daniel’s signature sound with Adekunle Gold’s unique Afro-fusion style. The song was produced by a trio of frequent collaborators—Philkeys, Blaise Beat, and Reward Beats.
In addition, Kizz Daniel kicked off the year by partnering with Davido on the remix of “Twe Twe,” a notable collaboration between two of Afrobeats’ biggest stars, further highlighting his openness to joint musical ventures.
