Veteran Nollywood star Richard Mofe-Damijo has joined the cast of the sequel to Kemi Adetiba’s King of Boys.
The news was confirmed by Adetiba herself in an Instagram post on Thursday, August 20, 2020, in a caption that reads:
“Like I said…I… CAN’T… WAIT!!! #SomebodyPinchMe #KOBSequel #ReverendIfeanyi #KOBSeasonHasOfficiallyReturned #KOBArmy”.
RMD’s addition comes on the heels of actress Nse Ikpe-Etim’s announcement recently that she had joined the cast of King of Boys 2.
An official release date for the sequel hasn’t been revealed but Adetiba has hinted that production on the project would soon commence.
Lead star Sola Sobowale (who plays Eniola Salami) returns to reprise her role in the second part.
