Popular Nollywood Yoruba actress, Iyabo Ojo has shared some new pictures as she turns 40 today, December 21.
The CEO of Fespris World, a beauty parlour and recently Abula joint expressed her feeling with the caption “God’s goodness is all. I see Feeling se~y as ever, God’s special baby. I am grateful”.
Ojo who also runs an NGO, Pinkies Foundation, which caters to the children with special needs and the less privileged and founded in 2011 celebrated the fifth anniversary of the foundation.
Her local canteen which she named Abula Spot, in Lekki, kicked off operations in September.
Having been involved in a drama group in secondary school, Ojo commenced her acting career in 1998 and has since scripted and featured in several Nigerian films. Her first role was in 1998’s ‘Satanic,’ an English-language film. In 2002, she made her Yoruba-language debut with Baba Darijinwon, in 2004, Ojo started producing her own films, her first production being Bolutife, after which she made Bofeboko, Ololufe, Esan and Okunkun Biribiri.
2015 saw the actress produced an English casted movie Silence, which featured Joseph Benjamin Alex Usifo, Fathia Balogun, and Doris Simeon, premiered at the Silverbird Cinemas, Ikeja, in Lagos.
Marrying a Lagos-based movie marketer in 1999, when she was 21, she took a break from pursuing her career. She gave birth to a son and then a daughter (born in 1999 and 2001 respectively).
