Music Producer Applauds Mavin Boss for Smart Collaborations with Skitmakers
Renowned Nigerian music producer ID Cabasa has praised Mavin Records boss, Don Jazzy, as one of the most intelligent individuals in the music industry. In a recent interview, Cabasa attributed Don Jazzy’s continuous success to his strategic partnerships with skitmakers, which have earned him strong support from the content creator community.
Cabasa explained that Don Jazzy’s regular appearances in skits have helped him build a strong connection with content creators, ensuring that whenever he releases new music, they freely promote it.
“Don Jazzy is one of the smartest people in this industry. What Don Jazzy did is connect with them (content creators) so that anytime he drops, all of them will post,” Cabasa remarked.
The legendary producer also advised up-and-coming artists to emulate Don Jazzy’s approach, urging them to collaborate with content creators to increase their visibility and reach.
He further mentioned Kizz Daniel as another notable artist who has successfully cultivated relationships with skitmakers and content creators, strengthening his presence in the music scene.
Cabasa emphasised the value of working with younger creatives, particularly Gen Z, highlighting their fresh ideas and inspiration. “I work a lot with Gen Z because they are full of inspiration while people from my set have experience,” he added.
