Comedian and actor Kevin Hart has said that he was among those that contracted the novel coronavirus in the early part of 2020.
When the pandemic had spread from Wuhan, China to the rest of the world, many celebrities had made their COVID-19 diagnosis public.
Stars like Tom Hanks and his wife, Idris Elba, and many others had been open about their fight with the virus. Now, Kevin Hart has opened up about having it too.
While performing at Dave Chappelle’s ‘An Intimate Socially Distanced Affair’ Show in Yellow Springs, Hart revealed his diagnosis, saying:
“The problem is that I had it around the same time as Tom Hanks, and I couldn’t say anything because he’s more famous than I am.”
Hart had been involved in a car crash last year and had to undergo surgery, recovering completely in 2020.
