Nollywood actress, Kemi Afolabi has expressed fear as she returns to Nigeria following her medical trip to the US.
It was reported that Kemi Afolabi has expressed her fear as she returns back to Nigeria following her medical treatment for Lupus in the US.
In an interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, the actress revealed that she had been diagnosed with lupus and she has just five more years to live.
Following the news of her ailment, her colleagues in the movie industry rallied around to seek funds for her urgent medical attention. Afolabi was thereafter granted an emergency health visa in the US to begin a life-saving treatment for her terminal illness, Lupus.
Returning to Nigeria, Kemi Afolabi took to her Instagram page to lament about the poor state of the country as she stated that she is back to her worse fear. According to her, the country has not changed since she left. The traffic congestion is still the same.
Moreover, she called out the Ogun State governor, Dapo Abiodun over the bad roads in the state.
Afolabi wrote:
“Back to my biggest fear…my country NIGERIA. Nothing has changed! Same Nonni

“From the Lagos Murtala Mohammed International Airport through oshodi to Mowe via the Lagos/ Ibadan Express way na traffic full everywhere! In the end no clue for the cause.
“Wait, what are these politician using to campaign in the forth coming elections naa because me I am not understanding o.
“It must be extremely hard a task for the right authorities to track down kidnappers! This is no longer funny at the rate kidnapping is on the rise on a daily in Nigeria.
“What will it cost the government to start ransacking day and night with the use of helicopters, ground troops and all?
“The ofada-Owode road that leads to my home is in a sorry state that even SUV car will suffer a hiccup God!
“Bia Ogun state government when are you guys fixing the roads edakun this one concern una o.
