Nasiru Salisu Zango, an investigative journalist was heard to have rejected over 700,000 cash which was offered to him as a bribe to cover up a story in Kano state.
Nasiru Salisu who describes himself as a whistle-blower and Human Rights fighter – currently works with Freedom Radio Kano, was presented with the “incentive” to cover up a scandal relating to new shops at Wambai Market in Kano.
Nasiru Salisu Zango is a man of truth and he ought to be rewarded for not receiving a bribe.
Different people, took to their social media accounts, saying he is one of the people Nigeria needs as at this moment.
According to reports, an investigation is still underway as relating to the matter.
