One of the leading banks in Nigeria, Guaranty Trust Bank has adjusted its opening hours for economic reasons.
GTCO on Friday issued a circular to customers stating that all bank branches will now open from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Before now, GTBank branches operate from 8 am to 5 pm.
In a copy of the release seen by TalkGlitz, GTBank made it clear that the new opening hours will take effect from Monday, March 21, 2022.
Without being told, one could deduce that the financial institution has bowed to the economic pressure in the country. The price of diesel has gone up to N820 per litre amid the current national grid collapse that has thrown some parts of the country in blackout.
