Gospel pop singer, Kirk Franklin marks his 21st wedding anniversary with lovely wife, Tammy Collins.
Born as Kirk Dewayne Franklin, on the 26th of January 1970, a Musician, songwriter, record producer, choir director, started his musical career since 1992, majored in Christian hip hop, contemporary gospel. He looks very young and handsome, no one could believe he is married, but he has been married since 1996 and now celebrating his 21st wedding anniversary with his lovely wife Tammy Collins, wow!!,
The gospel singer who is a native of Fort Worth, Texas, was raised by his aunt, Gertrude, having been abandoned as a baby by his mother. Gertrude collected and resold aluminum cans to raise money for Kirk to take piano lessons from the age of four. Kirk excelled in music, being able to read and write music, while also playing by ear. He received his first contract offer at the age of seven, which his aunt turned down.
In 1996, Franklin married long-time friend Tammy Collins. When they wed, they each had one child from previous relationships: Kirk’s son Kerrion, born in 1988, and Tammy’s daughter Carrington (whom he legally adopted), born in 1989. As a couple, they have two children together, a daughter named Kennedy (born in 1997) and a son named Caziah (born in 2000).
On her Instagram page the lovely Tammy writes of their long-lasting, undying romance, saying; ”I love being his wife but I’m also very intentional about staying his girlfriend!
I knew he wouldn’t mind me wearing the flat sandals that I thought about wearing, but I chose to wear the wedges that I know he loves.
I pay attention to what makes him smile! I share this not because I’ve always done it perfect but I grew to learn the balance.
