Patrick Akpobolokemi, a former Director-General of Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, NIMASA who is standing trial over alleged multibillion naira fraud, threatens to slap female reporter withing the court premises. As seen in the video, the reporter stood her ground as the former lecturer tried to grab her phone and questioned her identity.
“Who are you?” Mr Akpobolokemi quizzed her for snapping him without his permission. The adamant lady then replied; “This is the court premises, I can snap pictures if I want”
“I will slap you. I will just slap you”, Akpobolokemi threatened. The altercation continued as the faceless lady maintained her stand.
Akpobolokemi was accused of converting N2.6billion from NIMASA for person use. He was also accused of defrauding the Federal Government to the tune of N795.2million. His trial has been adjourned to the 28th of February, 2017.
