The first batch of Nigerians who arrived in the country from South Africa yesterday have started to speak on their bitter experiences.
A video posted on Twitter shows the group of persons around the aircraft that brought them back.
One of them, who said he was a mechanic with a workshop in South Africa, said that the South Africans went to his place of work and burnt the place, including the cars. Left with nothing, he had no choice but to return home.
The clip then showed the returnees singing the national anthem in unison, obviously glad to be back in their home country.

President Muhammadu Buhari had ordered that those interested in leaving the country due to the xenophobic attacks launched on the foreign nationals (including Nigerians) be airlifted back.
The first group landed in Nigeria on the 11th of September via Air Peace Airlines.
