Barely a year after dropping his sophomore album, Nigerian rising artist Fireboy DML is set to release a second album.
Born Adedamola Adefolahan, the singer known professionally as Fireboy DML released his first studio album, Laughter, Tears, and Goosebumps in November 2019 and it received generally positive reviews.
Building on the success of his first album while enjoying his song Tattoo getting lots of airplay, Fireboy took to his Twitter account on Monday, August 17, 2020, to announce the release of his next album.
Titled Apollo, it boasts 17 songs, with guest appearances from Wande Coal, Olamide, and D Smoke.
Sharing photos of the album cover and tracklist, the singer wrote:
“My second studio album Apollo. This was bound to happen. Gratitude to God for blessings. Gratitude to everyone who worked with me on this album; gratitude to my team (YBNL/Empire), my family and the kings who blessed this project with their presence. See you on Thursday.”
