General overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church Of God (RCCG), Pastor. Enoch Adeboye is pleased that his 72 years old wife, Mama Folu, still honour and reverence him. To show his happiness, he celebrated his wife on her birthday, July 13 and he used this opportunity to advise young women to imitate his wife so they can have a blissful marriage too.
He advised them to still do their roles in the family and not transfer roles to maids and domestic staff. Taking to his instagram page to celebrate his wife, who is popular known as Mummy G.O, Adeboye revealed those things she does despite being a grandparent that spark his love more for her. He revealed that she still cooks his food, she trims his nails, she makes him know and feels that he is the head, she reponds “yes sir” to his instruction, she cuts his hair when there was no barber in the town they lived, she plays her role as the helpmeet as she helped him wrote a book ‘Mathematics of Marriage’ and she has always being his number one fan.
Busy as she is, she still cooks my meals and serves me herself. Many young ladies these days leave everything to the house help. My wife still trims my nails for me. There was a time when I was a teacher and was staying far from town. #MGO72

This was not funny to woke twitter at all, they see the act of Mummy G.O as slavery and nothing near marriage to them. Some of them even believed that Pastor. Adeboye only seized the birthday as an opportunity to display is masculinity and superiority over his wife. They batter Pastor. Adeboye with several tweets, few tweets are seen below:

Should we now say what marriage means to this generation is totally different from the older generation? The fact is that Mummy and Daddy G.O married in 1967 shortly after Adeboye completed his first degree at the University of Lagos graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics.
Their union has produced four children, three boys and a girl. Their marriage is built on the so called old generation values and cannot to the woke twitter fit to this generation marital values.
It is obvious that the woke twitter’s belief is far from the angle Pastor. Adeboye is talking from and they are not ready to succumb to any advice of marriage that will make them work for their partners which they consider as suffering.
