Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has shed more light on her rare appearance at the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC), Oshoffa Memorial Cathedral.
It was reported that Funke Akindele caused a stir online when a video of her in the church made its way to the internet.
Several reactions had trailed the moment Funke Akindele went into a trance while worshiping with Christ Celestial Church in Lagos.
The actress turned politician was spotted dancing and worshipping with the church’s white garment, then suddenly she was touched by the spirit and went into a trance.
Funke Akindele said the church had joined her on her birthday thanksgiving.
Funke Akindele turned 45 on the 25th of August and held a thanksgiving to celebrate her new age on Sunday, August 29th.
From there, the actress went to another Celestial church to join the congregation to celebrate the 2022 edition of the Annual Prophet & Prophetess anniversary and commit the new year into the hands of God.
Funke Akindele revealed that she is humbled by their devotion to God’s work and draws from their example of stewardship and unwavering faith as she tackles her biggest undertaking yet.
