Iyabo Ojo Slams MC Oluomo’s Aide For Tribalistic Remark
Nigerian movie star, Iyabo Ojo, has expressed her anger towards Koko Zaria, an aide to MC Oluomo, for a post he made on social media.
In the post, Koko Zaria shared a photo collage featuring Iyabo Ojo, Falz, Mogaji, Mr Macaroni, and several others criticising them for betraying their tribe.
It’s worth noting that during the gubernatorial election in Lagos, Iyabo Ojo, Falz, and Mr Macaroni did not support the reelection of Sanwo-Olu.
Instead, they campaigned for Gbadebo Rhodes Vigour, who was running as a candidate for the Labour Party. This action did not sit well with Koko Zaria who referred to them as “bastards” for not supporting the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Koko Zaria, who is well-known for his lavish lifestyle in the United States, used a derogatory term in Yoruba to refer to them.
“Awon Omo ale Yoruba jatijati”, he said in Yoruba.
In response to the post, Iyabo Ojo in a now-deleted post took to her Instagram page to call him out and criticize him for insulting her based on her support for a different candidate.
She also reported the post to the Nigerian police and made it clear that such disrespectful behaviour towards her and her colleagues should not be tolerated.
“You put up our pictures on your page and call us Omo ale becos we did not support your candidate. So what do you people call this @nigeriapoliceforce is this also a joke to you… If anything happens to us, you all should hold this bastard accountable.
You must be MAD”.
