Ini Edo Celebrates Daughter’s 2nd Birthday
Nollywood actress Ini Edo took is celebrating her daughter, Light, as she turned 2 years old on March 15th.
The actress, who welcomed Light in 2021 through surrogacy, expressed gratitude to God for blessing her with the greatest gift and fulfilling her biggest heart desire.
Ini Edo had previously opened up about her experience with surrogacy in an interview with Stella Dimoko korkus.
She confirmed that the eggs used for the surrogacy belonged to her, making Light genetically her blood. However, she chose not to disclose the identity of the sperm donor to protect her daughter’s privacy.
In her birthday post, Ini Edo described her daughter as a shining light and the most precious and adorable little girl. She also expressed how motherhood has brought her comfort and joy beyond measure and praised Light for being the light of her life.
She wrote: “LIGHT is 2.
“On the 15th of March 2021, God blessed me with the Greatest Gift and my biggest heart desire.
“A shining LIGHT and the most precious, adorable little girl. I never knew how much my life would change and how much comfort and joy a human could bring. My smart and loving princess. I love you more than life itself. You are a light to us and to your generation.
“As you turn 2, I dedicate you to God that gave you to me. The one who never sleeps not slumber… HE is doing an excellent job at taking care of us… Grow in wisdom and abundance of Grace my little Angel. Mummy loves you too much”.
