Unknown assailants in the Arondizuogu community of the Ideato North Local Government Area in Imo state tragically killed an engaged couple, Mba Ifeoma Gloria and Eremezie Tochukwu Martin.
The incident happened just days before their scheduled wedding on January 18, 2023. According to residents, the couple was riding in the groom’s brother’s tricycle when they were ambushed and killed, along with the brother.
The community is deeply troubled by the ongoing violence and kidnappings in their area and has taken to holding mass gatherings to curse the perpetrators.
They have also reported that the criminals in question have been known to target and steal luxury vehicles and kill their owners.
