Giveaway
Song by Davolee Released: 1 October 2019
Indigenous rapper, Davolee comes really hard on the entire Nigerian hip-hop industry in his latest, “GiveAway”.
The song is literarily a giveaway – judging from its contents, Davolee apparently got inspired by The Martell – Purification released earlier by MI Abaga and his gang.
This is a major diss directed to self-acclaimed Best Rapper in Africa, Blaqbonez, Ycee, Falz, AQ, Loose Kaynon and few others to mention.
The former YBNL artist suddenly came out of his shell following his exit from the Olamide’s led-movement. His first major impression was “Lock Up” which features Zlatan Ibile.
As a local rapper, he’s named DaGrin as a major influence.
Blaqbonez responds to Davolee’s Giveaway diss track
Blaqbonez also made a swift hilarious response to the Give Away diss by Blaqbonez and it’s currently a trending topic. Recall that it was Blaq that called out Davolee at first, now the former is claiming not to understand the flows in the diss track as he mentioned: “you’re not communicating”.
Well, we might be expecting a diss response from Blaqbonez anytime soon, meanwhile, see what Blaqbonez has to say to Davolee below:
Davolee finds Blaq’s response interesting as it turns out the former was the first to mention names.
“Why did he call me out in the first place”, Davolee responds. “So it’s now he doesn’t understand what I’m saying?”, he goes further.
Davolee believes Dagrin would be laughing wherever he is right now as it appears like a total mockery to the local hip-hop industry.
