In a recent interview, popular Nigerian singer Davido confirmed the rumors of his marriage to his fiancée, Chioma Rowland.
This marks his first interview since taking a break from the spotlight following the unfortunate loss of his son Ifeanyi Adeleke.
During the interview, he discussed various topics including his marriage, his latest album “Timeless”, and his future plans.
The interview, conducted by skit maker Kiekie, delved into Davido’s personal life, his label DMW, his new signees, and his upcoming concert.
It is worth noting that the singer was seen wearing wedding bands with his wife after the tragic loss of their son Ifeanyi Adeleke, leading to speculation that they had secretly gotten married.
During the interview, Davido spoke about his time away from the spotlight and how it had given him time to reflect on his personal life and his music.
He also revealed that he had, in fact, gotten married to Chioma during his break from social media.
The singer also expressed his eagerness to return to the stage, saying that he had already prepared an album before his hiatus and was now ready to promote it through a tour.
When asked if he missed his fans, he responded positively, saying that he had never taken such a long break before.
Davido said: “Just being away, I have had a lot to think about, time to rest, reflect on a lot of family time, and definitely a time to make music again and remake the album.
Before I went on break, I actually had an album ready. I traveled, it was crazy. I am married. A lot of different things but we’re ready to get back on the road, tour…..”.
