COVID-19 Impact Leads To Cancelation Of E! News
E! News canceled after 29 years

Long-running entertainment news platform E! News has been canceled after 29 years on the air due to the financial fallout caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

The news was confirmed by a representative of the network who disclosed that the show has been canceled along with Pop of the Morning and Jason Kennedy’s interview show In the Room.

The announcement comes after NBC Universal, the parent company of E! revealed plans to restructure its programming and focus on streaming, moving away from traditional television.

Liliana Vazquez and Scott Tweedie were the most recent hosts of E! News, giving celebrity news and covering some of the biggest events and parties in the industry.

Vazquez shared a recent post on Instagram, addressing the cancelation of the show, writing:
